A Personal Connection,
Practical Support

Passport to Croatia grew out of my own journey toward Croatian citizenship and a connection to my heritage that began long before the paperwork.

My ancestor came from Croatia in the early 1900s, carrying a sense of identity and belonging that continued through the generations. That Croatian heritage became part of my own story. Pursuing citizenship was a way to reconnect with it more deeply.

From My Journey to Yours

Over several years of navigating the Croatian citizenship process through Article 11, I experienced how much work can sit behind a seemingly simple question: Where do I begin?

Family records, document requirements, and administrative steps can turn a meaningful personal goal into a complicated project. My own experience showed me the value of staying organized, asking questions, and breaking the process into manageable steps.

It also inspired Passport to Croatia. I wanted to use what I had learned to help others approach their own journeys with greater clarity and less uncertainty.

Support With a Personal Perspective

Every family story is different. Some people begin with carefully preserved records and a clear connection to Croatia. Others have only a name, a place, or a story passed down through generations.

Passport to Croatia provides practical support with researching family records, organizing documents, and coordinating application materials. Whether you are just beginning or already gathering paperwork, the goal is to help you understand what needs attention and move forward with a clearer plan.

My approach is personal and collaborative: respect your family’s story, explain the work clearly, and keep you involved along the way.

Passport to Croatia provides document research, organization, and administrative assistance— not legal advice or legal representation. Citizenship decisions remain with the relevant Croatian authorities.

Your Story. Your Next Step.

You do not need to have every document—or every answer—to begin exploring your connection to Croatia.

Whether you are ready to move forward or still finding your starting point, Passport to Croatia is here to help you organize the details and take the next step.
