Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 7, 2026
Welcome to Passport to Croatia. These Terms of Use govern your use of this website, its content, contact forms, scheduling features, payment links, and related services. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or its services.
1. About Passport to Croatia
Passport to Croatia provides document research, organization, and administrative support for U.S. citizens exploring Croatian citizenship through the Article 11 pathway.
Passport to Croatia is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal opinions. Use of this website, booking a call, or communicating with Passport to Croatia does not create an attorney-client relationship.
2. Informational Purpose Only
The information provided on this website, during a Clarity Call, in follow-up materials, and through general communications is for informational and administrative-support purposes only.
While reasonable efforts are made to keep information current, citizenship laws, consular procedures, appointment availability, government requirements, fees, processing times, and document standards can change. Passport to Croatia does not guarantee that website information is complete, current, or applicable to every individual situation.
3. No Guarantee of Eligibility or Approval
Passport to Croatia does not guarantee that you are eligible for Croatian citizenship, that your application will be accepted, or that Croatian authorities will approve your application.
Your outcome depends on your personal facts, family history, supporting documents, applicable law, consular requirements, government review, and decisions made solely by the relevant Croatian authorities.
Passport to Croatia also cannot control document availability, apostille or translation timelines, U.S. consular appointment availability, third-party vendors, or Croatian government processing times.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful information and documents.
You are also responsible for:
Reviewing all documents and information before submitting them to a consulate or government authority.
Obtaining legal advice when needed.
Paying required government fees, records fees, translation fees, apostille fees, shipping costs, and other third-party expenses unless expressly included in a written service agreement.
Attending required appointments and submitting your own application when required.
Promptly informing Passport to Croatia if your information, circumstances, or documents change.
5. Services and Separate Agreements
The website may describe services such as a Clarity Call, document-readiness review, guided administrative support, concierge assistance, or heritage research.
Service details, pricing, timing, deliverables, payment arrangements, and client responsibilities may be governed by a separate proposal, invoice, service agreement, or engagement letter. A discussion, inquiry, website visit, or appointment booking does not itself create a continuing service engagement beyond the specific paid appointment or service confirmed in writing.
6. Payment, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Fees, deposits, and payment terms will be shown on the applicable booking page, invoice, proposal, or service agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Third-party costs are separate from Passport to Croatia service fees.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, whose terms and policies also apply.
Rescheduling and cancellation requests should be made as early as possible.
A paid Clarity Call may become non-refundable once the scheduled consultation has occurred or substantive preparation has begun.
Passport to Croatia may decline, pause, or end a service engagement if payment is overdue, necessary information is not provided, or the requested work falls outside the agreed scope.
7. Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful information.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its systems, forms, accounts, or data.
Interfere with the website’s security or operation.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to copy, monitor, or collect website content without written permission.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Use website content for unlawful, commercial, or competitive purposes without written permission.
8. Sensitive Information
Do not submit passport numbers, Social Security numbers, bank-account information, or highly sensitive identity documents through a general website contact form.
If sensitive documents are needed after a service engagement begins, Passport to Croatia will provide instructions for the preferred method of sharing them.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content—including text, service descriptions, branding, logos, graphics, layouts, resources, and original materials—is owned by or licensed to Passport to Croatia and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and print reasonable portions of this website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit website content without prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Websites and Tools
This website may contain links to, or use, third-party services such as scheduling platforms, payment processors, translation providers, records services, government websites, or other resources.
Passport to Croatia does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites or services. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Passport to Croatia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, and availability.
Passport to Croatia does not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Passport to Croatia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its services.
This includes, without limitation, losses related to delays, document issues, third-party providers, government processing, appointment availability, application outcomes, lost data, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or emotional distress.
If Passport to Croatia is found liable for any claim relating to a paid service, its total liability will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Passport to Croatia for the specific service giving rise to the claim, to the extent allowed by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Passport to Croatia from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses—including reasonable attorneys’ fees—arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, submission of inaccurate or unlawful information, or violation of another person’s rights.
14. Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by the Passport to Croatia Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, and shared.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website, or Passport to Croatia services will be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
Passport to Croatia may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes become effective when the updated Terms are posted on this website. The “Last Updated” date will show when the Terms were last revised.
